Halloween 2012

It was a super cold and rainy night on Oct. 30. This was the night our subdivision had Trick or Treat. We bundled up and went out but didn't stay out long. Zoey was happy after the first sucker. She got scared at about the second house we went to because a woman had on a scary clown face. She got out of the car a couple more times and then she was done. Zadyn, on the other hand, was quite excited about getting his "canny" so he was ready to hop out before I could get out the door. He kept yelling or his "canny" aka candy the whole way up driveways and sidewalks. Haha. When we got back down the hill to our house, Zoey wanted her Tootsie Pop and Zadyn just tried to eat anything he could, wrapper and all. You'd think they never got candy haha

We went again the following night in my mom and dad's area. The kids had a much better time. They got tons of candy, the good stuff... And it was much more pleasant out. Zadyn had I do a breathing treatment beforehand but he seemed to do ok after that. All that cold air from the night before... Shew!

We enjoyed going in the Pineville area the best. It may become our new place to go.

Meeting Baby Grey!

I got to meet Greyson, who I call Baby Grey, before my scans yesterday. It just made my day. He's so precious! It was good to see my BFF up and about preparing to take her baby home. These parents are over the moon for Greyson. I'm so happy for them!!!

Jonah "Greyson" Has Arrived!

Today is a special day! Baby Greyson arrived into the world around 8 am weighing in at 6 lbs 6 oz and measuring 19.5 in long!

My sweet friend Misty texted me at 2:47am Saturday morning to let me know her water broke. I was wide awake until around 7 am and then back up at almost 10 for updates. Well Baby Grey didn't hurry... He couldn't decide how he wanted to arrive. After hours of contractions and little progress, they decided to do a C-section an hour from that time if no more progress was made. Guess what slowly progress was made and the section was cancelled at the last minute. All night we messages back and forth and finally this morning he arrived!
I have truly been reminded of God's faithfulness through the arrival of this sweet boy! I have my 3 month cancer scans tomorrow and god has used this to remind me to never give up because He doesn't give up on me! He blessed my sweet friend with a baby against all odds just as He did for me almost 3 years ago. Surely if He can do that... He can control my cancer! I know He can! Praise God for His perfect blessings!!!

Ps. Keep me in your Prayers this week as I am scanned and await the results. I promise to finish the story of the last year of my cancer battle on here soon.

Bumpy Bear

Zoey loves Care Bears. Her favorite is my all time favorite, Grumpy bear. She calls grumpy, bumpy. Here she is kissing him on the train. She talks to him just like he's real. My mom says she is identical to me when I was the age... Not only in looks but in actions. I talked to my babies at that age, too.

The Mall

We love going to the mall. We love the train and now the car carts, too. We had plans to go Monday to pick up my contrast for my upcoming scans but we ended up not going because Zady was sick with a virus. So we went Tuesday. We forgot the strollers in my car so we not only rode the train but the car carts, too. Now the carts will probably become a routine because they loved them. We love going to the mall!

Braids

My sweet friend Mandy braided my girl's hair the other night at church. Isn't it cute? Now if I can just get the hang of it we will be flying high. Haha
